Today, was the first time in years that I washed my car. Normally I would go to the hand car wash, support the local economy and save myself a job to be honest. They always do a great job in such a small amount of time. But of course with social distancing these operations have all shut down, possibly to never reopen again in some cases.
I probably didn’t have the right equipment to be fair, but just using a bucket and sponge did the job. It was a beautifully sunny, warm and windy day, so it all dried off quite quickly, probably to quick actually.
Before I did that I took a whole load of wood, left over from the kitchen improvement project to the recycling centre and because they have strict social distancing in place, I had to queue for about ½ hour, which was fine, lucky for me I could park directly by the wood bin, so good job done there!
After that, I put my feet up and watched a bit of Netflix, not much but one of my favourite series at the moment, Forumla 1.
Then I came across some news trending about the top aid of Boris Johnson’s, Dominic Cummings. This is going to a hell of a storm, you watch!
